Agents run the loop. You step off it.

A lone figure walking through a luminous tunnel of star-like agent paths.

Offloop hands the work loop to agents — context, plan, execution, proof — so people can step off the cycle and spend their attention on direction and review.

The name says it: Offloop is about getting people off the loop. An agent picks up a task and carries it through context, plan, execution, and proof — keeping the cycle moving without a person driving every step.

Stepping off the loop is not stepping out of control. You still set direction at the start and review the evidence at the end. You just stop being the part that has to run each cycle for the work to continue.

Agents run the cycle, not just answer a prompt

The old interface assumes work restarts every time someone asks a question. Agents change that: once a task has context, owners, files, and schedules attached, the next action happens inside the same Channel — nobody has to restart it.

The useful measure becomes loop quality: whether the agent understood the goal, brought in the right capabilities, and left evidence a person can inspect when they check back in.

Off the loop, still in control

Off the loop does not mean out of the picture. People set direction up front and review proof at the end; the agent owns the middle.

That is why proof matters. You do not need to watch every step — you need a compact way to see what changed and whether the result can be trusted before you accept it.

"The advantage is not speed alone. It is being able to step off a loop and trust it to keep running."

Offloop Team, Product notes

The scarce skill becomes shaping loops

When agents can run loops, the differentiator is not who presses the button first. It is who can describe a loop clearly, set the right constraints, and decide which loops deserve to keep running.

Offloop is built around that shape of work: human-set direction, agent-run execution, and progress that stays attached to the team's actual workflow.
